Uniform Requirements

School uniform is compulsory for all students.

School uniforms are available from www.waihopai.unifomnz.com or Uniform NZ, Hangar 1, 82 Airport Avenue, Invercargill

Uniforms are available on the internet 24/7. Orders will be delivered within 10 days of the order being placed – this includes embroidery and delivery.

Families without internet access can use a school based computer, printed catalogues or by visiting the shop as addressed above.

Rain jackets of any colour to be worn to and from school, at break times and lunch time but not to be worn inside the classrooms.

Only uniforms purchased from the school supplier will be able to be worn to avoid similar non monogrammed upper garments or non-regulation shorts or thermal items detracting from the uniform.

School Regulation Uniform: (for school and class outings, formal occasions and school photos)

Waihopai students are to have a Waihopai School Polo Shirt (long or short sleeve) and a Waihopai School fleece with the Waihopai skirt, culottes or Waihopai shorts for girls and the shorts or ¾ pants for boys. Sunhats must be worn during terms 1 and 4.

For additional warmth a Waihopai Thermal can be worn. This is available through Uniform NZ.

Sports Uniform:

Students representing Waihopai School at sporting events MUST wear the Waihopai sports uniform. (sports top and shorts). Students not in the correct uniform will not be able to play. (Teams are now being penalized for non-uniformed players, mis-matched team clothing and additional adornments or under clothing which are non-regulation or non-uniform).
